Fall River Catches A Star
The Fall River Chamber of Commerce will host auditions for the "Fall
River Catches a Star" Talent Show at 5:00pm. on Wednesday July 1st
at Swedes Cafe..
This year, the talent show is open only to vocalists . Co-chairs Michelle
Pelletier and Jennifer Preston Sousa decided to continue with vocalist
this year and focused their theme on Hometown Idols.
Although pre-registration is not required, only vocalists with one accompanist or with recorded accompaniment are eligible to audition and first place winners from previous years are not eligible to compete two years in a row.
Based on the auditions that day, a panel of judges will select 30 qualifying contestants for the Talent Show at Fall River Celebrates America, which runs from. Up to ten (10) contestants will be chosen to compete in the following categories:Category 1 12 & under
Category 2 13 – 18
Category 3 over 18
