The Fall River Area Chamber of Commerce will produce the 21st Anniversary Edition of Fall River Celebrates America from August 9 - 12, 2007 at Battleship Cove and Heritage State Park on the scenic Fall River Waterfront and this year we want to "Honor Our Veterans", including our active duty troops. As such, we would like to extend a cordial invitation to all Veterans to participate in and enjoy Fall River Celebrates America this summer:

Each Veteran may receive one complimentary "four-day" wristband to FRCA, a $10 value, which gives access to all venues and concerts. Complimentary Veterans Wristbands are only available through the Chamber through August 8 and will not be available at the gate. Please contact us for further details.

Veteran's may purchase the four-day wrist bands for members of their immediate family for the Chamber Member price of only $8 in advance direct from the Chamber. This special discount offer for immediate family members of Veterans is only good at the Chamber through August 8 and will not be available at the gate.

Veterans groups are invited to march or ride in the FRCA Parade on Sunday August 12 between 1 and 3 p.m. but must apply in advance at www.fallrivercelebrates.com

Veterans and their families will be admitted free of charge to the Battleship Massachusetts on Sunday August 12 courtesy of the Battleship Board of Directors

Veterans groups and their families are invited to attend a very special Military Tattoo exercise in the Fall River Heritage State Park Meadow on Sunday evening, August 12, between 6 and 8 p.m. This will feature the 215th Army Band, a Fife and Drum Unit and a Bagpipe Unit, and Color Guards from each of the five branches of the military.

Although plans are still in progress, we hope to be able to publicly recognize and thank each organization represented that evening and there is a possibility that your Veterans organization Color Guard may have the opportunity to play a role in the Tattoo.
